Abstract

The data analyzed below demonstrate the fetus involvement in cases of SARS-COV 2 virus infection during maternity causing various pathological consequences of child development, as well as the righ risk of mortality. So, studies revealed high rates of neuronal modification due to the aggressiveness of COVID-19 in the placenta, causing hipoxia because of the poor capillary perfusion. In this way, different from others maternal-fetal transmissions, this viral type, according to studied data, is not vertical, but it affects directly the placental functioning and devolopment. These article analyzes seek, through selected cases research and studies already carried out, the connection between SARS-COV 2 and embryonic development.
